Nutritional Healing – To Prevent The Diseases From Attacking Your Body!

Nutritional HealingFood plays an important role in maintaining and restoring the health. Taking food with nutritional values which supports healing is “nutritional healing”.

The human body has the ability to heal itself when provided with proper and ideal food.

“Health of the body isn’t about the absence of disease; it’s the ability to overcome disease.” Nutritional healing helps the body in justifying this tag.

How nutrition helps in healing body disorders?

Any disease can enter through the mouth i.e. diseases enters into the body in food form. The imbalances in the body are caused due to the imbalances in the food and the nutrients.

Healthy nutritional diet is important in healing the body. Nutritional healing offers the belief that nutrients play an important role in treating almost every medical condition.

  • Eat a healthy diet full of natural vegetables and fruits in its natural form i.e. as they are available from nature.
  • Have a meal which comprises of multivitamins. Add zinc, potassium, calcium and all necessary vitamins in your one day diet.
  • Specific nutrients are used for specific problems. If you have a problem related to the deficiency of a specific vitamin, add that vitamin as an extra quantity in your diet.
  • Eat the right type of fat. Mono saturated fats are very good fats. Saturated fats should be avoided in the diet.
  • Soya protein is a very good nutrient in clearing cancer.
  • Fenugreek seeds control diabetes-1.
  • Vitamin-E is a power oxidant and helps body to get rid of radicals.
  • Tomatoes are rich in lycopene, a very good anti-oxidant which cut off the risk of cancer.
  • Omega-3 fatty acids reduce the risk of cancers.

You diet should act as a nutritional foundation of your body. Eating food does not just mean satisfying your hunger, it should comprise of carbohydrates, fats, proteins and all necessary elements for your body.

When nutritional healing is not preferred?

Nutritional healing follows the tag ‘prevention is better than cure’. It does not fight with the disease and cure the disease; all it does is to prevent the disease from attacking the body.

It makes the self immunity system strong to fight against diseases. Some conditions in which nutritional healing is not applicable is

  • In life threatening diseases, when you are sick and start nutritional healing, it will not help or support you to heal the disease.
  • It takes long time to boost up the immunity system of the body. So, patients who are suffering from caner and any threatening disease may not find fast and speedy results which are very much important in these cases.
  • The improvement in the health is seen very slowly in the normal cases too. It may take days, weeks, months or years too. But the healing is certain. If you have low patience levels, stop the idea of using nutritional healing.

If used in right way, nutritional healing can make miracles.

Foods that heal are always on my priority list. I love fruits and vegetables but I can’t avoid eating meat once in a while. Fist is at least 3x a week. That’s what I prefer for my weekly foods prepration.

I do agree with you – Food is both the problem and the solution at the same time. Due to the modern lifestyle, people have changed their eating habits and this has led to a many of the health challenges we face today.

At the same time, if you eat right, your body has all the “tools” it need to ensure good health. The problem is that nowadays, it is difficult for people to eat as recommended (one example is 5-9 portions of fresh fruit & vegetables a day – who has that?).

I agree with Dan that one way may be to supplement with whole food supplements that have no artificial additives.

It’s a good article though I would say “nutritional healing” is certainly indicated all the time. Our bodies are amazing at being able to heal itself if the correct building blocks (nutritional elements) are present. Supplementation is also key, but it is CRITICAL that the supplements used are organic, natural and “whole food” based. In other words they give exactly the same nutritional delivery, in the same form etc. as when eating organic fresh picked fruit and veg. Synthetic supplements and those containing isolates should be avoided.
