I'm a 38 year old female with a Traumatic Brain Injury(the accident happened 13 years ago!) I'm VERY interested in "Hippotherapy". I can see myself benefitting tremendously! I love animals and have ridden horses only a few times since the injury, but loved it! "Hippotherapy help in improving gross motor skills, fine motor skills, behavioral and cognitive skills, speech and language abilities" I feel I could use improvement in all these skills! Especially, "behavioral and some cognitive skills". But, I live in Reno, Nevada-Is there any "Hippotherapy" I could get involved in near me? Please let me know. I'm very interested in this!
