Homeopathy is a form of complementary and alternative medicine which contains few to no pharmacologically active ingredients. Essentially, Homeopathy is completely natural and organic herbal ingredients in most cases.
Homeopaths or people who administer homeopathic remedies don’t just set out to treat the ailment. Homeopaths get a detailed account of the patient’s medical, psychological and emotional history as well as current state.
Following this there is even an effort made to get to know the patient’s likes and dislikes and even some attention is paid to the patient’s body type. Understanding that all these things go into treating someone’s ailments with homeopathic remedies will help you to realize the alternative medicine really does seek to treat all the possible causes and not just the symptoms.
Most recently, homeopaths have discovered the alternative medicine can be used to treat depression and anxiety. Up until now the only treatments of depression and anxiety were thought to be anti-depressants which heavily medicate the patient such as Zoloft, Paxil, Prozac and Wellbutrin.
Of course you will first need to understand the underlying reasons causing the depression and anxiety. Have you always been a depressed or anxious person? Or maybe you have recently experienced the death of someone close to you and are feeling depressed because of your loss?
Quite possibly you have recently given birth and are experiencing post-partum depression? Whatever the reason may be it is important that you understand the underlying reasons behind your depression or anxiety.
Aconitum Napellus is used in the alternative medicine field as a form of homeopathy to treat depression and anxiety. Also referred to as Wolf’s Bane, Monk’s Blood and Monk’s Hood, Aconitum Napellus is a plant that grows in central Europe and has been used around the United States, Canada and European countries as a homeopathic remedy for depression and anxiety for years now.
If you decide you would like to try Aconitum Napellus as a homeopathic remedy for your depression or anxiety you can purchase it from any whole foods grocery store or organic grocery store. There are also many homeopathic websites that sell this.
You will need to read and follow the recommended dosage on the packaging (will vary depending on where you purchase Aconitum Napellus).
It is also very important that you remember homeopathic remedies are a very well-respected form of alternative medicine however it does not take the place of conventional medicine and if you experience thoughts of suicide or your symptoms do not persist you may want to consult with your doctor.

I am currently using a homeopathic medicine for my depression and am feeling QUITE better, i don’t know how do people say that homeopathy don’t work. It does work man , I have tried it many times even in fever and skin elergy and IT DID work. Everything is not just “placebo effect”
interesting. i’ve seen lots of articles showing that it DOES work… what do you know, maybe the scientific method is inherently flawed?
personally i’ve treated patients with homeopathy and seen some amazing things happen, was it placebo effect? maybe. does it matter? not to the patient.
here’s some abstracts of research using Heel products

of course, the downside to it is that you need to be able to understand other languages… maybe that’s why Americans are vehemently “against homeopathy” while virtually every other country uses homeopathy in conjunction with “westernized” medicine
can’t wait to see what happens with the flu pandemic and the treatment the people affiliated with this site are offering

for those “skeptics” out there who haven’t tried homeopathy, i would encourage you to pick up a product called “Traumeel” by Heel and use it on any sports injuries/blunt force trauma/stubbed toe, etc. injuries without broken skin, then come back here and post how successfully managed it was
thanks!
I started taking St John’s Wort to help my depression. It’s suposed to be a natural prozac. It didn’t work. 18 months later I’m still unemployed and weigh 5 stone more.
One thing that the article failed to mention is that homeopathy does not work. There are allot of scientific studies that conclude that it does not work and none that it does.
