Hot yoga is one of the types of yoga. This is another name of Bikram yoga, named after its creator Bikram Choudary.

Precautions you need to take before practicing hot yoga:

  • Hot yoga promotes extreme amounts of sweating so that it would be better for you if you wear light clothing.
  • It is important to drink plenty of water before beginning yoga session because of lot of sweating.
  • While considering any hot yoga centers you should look for few things. There are many hot yoga centers that are not certified by Bikram himself. This means that they are not reliable and may not follow the proper procedure. So you need to be careful with this type of centers.
